He’s one of the UK’s most high profile musicians.
So these days Professor Green isn’t used to getting anything less that five star treatment wherever he goes.
But the 28-year-old got a shock after the way he claims he was treated by a shop assistant in Ealing earlier in the month.
Twitter rant: Professor Green claims that he was treated with contempt because of his tattoos at Ealing store Bang Olufsen
The Read All About it star was so angry about his treatment at upmarket design store Bang and Olufsen that he decided to vent his frustration with one of his well documented Twitter rants.
Millie Mackintosh’s other half was so angry by what he believes was slightly less than a warm welcome to the Danish design store that he wanted all of his followers to know about it.
The star, who is known for ranting on the social networking site, decided that he’d been treated so badly because of the way that he looked.
Not happy: The singer compared his treatment to that of Julia Robert’s character in Pretty Woman
‘Bang Olufson Ealing shouldn’t be so dismissive of people with tattoos, not even a ‘hello’ or ‘is there anything I can help you with,’ he wrote.
Clearly upset, the rapper continued:
‘The gimp working in there won’t be getting commission off of me that’s for sure.’
Green went on to compare himself to Julia Roberts’ character in Pretty Woman who was treated badly in upmarket clothes shops because of the way that she dressed.
‘I feel like I’m in pretty woman… I feel like Julia Roberts,’ he wrote.

Speaking out: Professor Green wanted all of his followers to know just how angry he was
Hitting back at the claims, the store’s owner Stuart Melville wrote back to the singer, claiming a misunderstanding:
‘@professorgreen I said hi guys as soon as you walked in the door, sorry if you didn’t hear me?!,’ he wrote.
Hitting back: The owner of the store replied to Professor Green’s tweets, denying that they had dismissed him
Taking a different approach, the owner apologised, despite believing that he had done nothing wrong:
‘@professorgreen we like to give people the chance to look around instead of pouncing on them, nothing worse than that! Sorry once again! Stu.’ he posted.
Just a few weeks before, the star had taken to Twitter to rant about damage to his £100,000 black Mercedes AMG Gullwing, which had been pranged outside a concert.

Bang and olufsen is not the type of store to harass its customers. Should have gone to Currys for staff that follow you around anticipating a sale.

He is probably upset because they didn’t run over to him and free him loads of freebies. He is a pop star, so what. Joe bloggs off the street gets the same treatment why shouldn’t he

I remember once on Twitter he actually said “Just gonna do another 100 pages of the book I’m reading” – it was a car crash moment.

Oh please! I don’t get offended when I walk in to a shop and aren’t immediately approached by the shop staff. And why he assumes it’s because he has tattoos is beyond me!
